This site was properly created and launched on the 14th July 2006, when I decided to make a site to keep all my random bits and bobs. This is my own personal blog, and also a place I will put up all my songs, poems, artwork, and fanfiction/original stories since I have them everywhere all over the net, so I decided to make a place to bring all of my personal stuff together. =] However, it was finally re-launched on http://crystlekuri.twilight-melody.org on 09/09/06 after being hosted.

On 04/05/07 my site would no longer be for blogging purposes. If you'd like to see my blog please click here! I decided that this will be my personal site to host mainly my art, bentos, fanfiction, music, poems and songs, among other things relating to me only.

—×About the Name×—
The name —×Kuri×— should be very easy to understand haha. I always sign everything with L8r, —×Kuri×—, and since this is my personal site, that's just what I decided to call it, heh ^_^;

To be honest, I've been thinking of a nicer name for it, maybe I'll do a "name change" for every layout, since I randomly make up names like "Tainted Memories", "Sun-Kissed Stars", "Tinted Roses" or "Living Dreams" (some of you may recognise the last few of names. "SKS" was the name of my old, old site, "Tinted Roses" was the name of my old site, "Living Dreams" is my name in the fiction world) but for now, it's just plain old —×Kuri×— ^_^

—×About the Past×—
As it may or may not be obvious to you, this is not the first site I have made. My first html site (I had many others before, but they weren't made with html) was one named sUnKiSsEdStArS (<-- I was 12-13!!! Gimme a break =3), which opened some time in 2003 and to be frank, I only used pre-made layouts, my content sucked, and it all sucks. I'd delete it if I could, but I forgot my angelfire password >_>;

After gaining some html knowledge, I then began to make my own layouts, and my second site, Tinted Roses, was born in 2004. This one was a *lot* better and was when I started coding my own table layouts, and "making" my own graphics. That was extremely hard since I only had Microsoft Paint™ to work with, although it was still alright. I changed it to a 'Layouts and Songs' site, where I put up pre-made layouts for others to use, and put up my songs and other personal stuff there.

A while later, that died too. I no longer had the urge to update, and checking back now, practically all my link exchanges/sister sites have also disappeared.

During that process of my site dying, my friend Katie suggested we make a joint site together, and voila! Kitto.Koishiteru.Net was born! It was made on Microsoft FrontPage™ and the graphic was made by her on Photoshop, so it was much, much better than any previous site I'd had before. It was our joint personal site and blog, and was hosted by the wonderful Tiffany <3.

Funnily enough, that site had actually survived a year and more, except by that time, both of us had lost the will to keep it, so we rarely blogged at all, and we'd both forgotten it's anniversary. T'was sad because it was the first site I'd loved, but I had no internet connection back then, and no FTP on Daddy's laptop or FrontPage, since I kept thinking that I'd get broadband once I'd moved, so I'd be able to keep the site after that, but it was too late. Kitto is dead.

And on July something-or-other, I decided to start my site, so here it is! <3

—×About the Host×—
—×Kuri×— was originally hosted on fsphost, but that continuously had a lot of downtime, and I found it tediously slow in uploads. Also, it couldn't upload more than one file at a time, which bugged me immensely, so after a couple of days, I switched to atspace.com. On the same day, I went host-hunting. At first I applied to endless-hope.net, but I got a reply saying unfortunately hosting is closed, since the domain is currently having billing issues, so I applied to two more places, twilight-melody.org and sealed-fate.net.

On... some time or another, I was finally accepted on twilight-melody.org <33333 (sealed-fate hadn't replied to me yet, and I wrote an email saying I no longer needed hosting from there anymore), and I have now moved! Yay! =D
